Welcome Home: The Three Sacred Spaces That Shape Our Lives
How the City, the House, and the Body Are All Part of Coming Home to Yourself
A Redefinition of “Home”
Close your eyes and think of the word home.
Maybe you picture a childhood memory, a cozy room, or the house your grandfather built.
But what if “home” isn’t just a place on a map?
What if it’s also the earth beneath your feet, the walls that hold your sacred space, and the body that carries your spirit?
To me, home exists in three layers:
🌆 The city we call home
🏡 The house we call home
🧘♀️ The body we call home
Each one shapes us, supports us, and offers us the opportunity to return to ourselves.
The City I Call Home
My name is Cammie Topalian—photographer, Realtor®, and deeply rooted resident of Southern Utah.
Though I was raised in Pleasant Grove, I felt the desert’s pull during college. I remember long drives with the windows down, spontaneous bonfires under the stars, and early morning hikes after desert rain. Those moments became the heartbeat of St. George for me.
This land became more than where I lived—it became my anchor, my playground, and my sanctuary.
Finding My Community in St. George Utah
When I moved to St. George full-time, I craved deeper connection. I was far from family, transitioning out of college, and navigating new seasons. At first, it was lonely.
But something beautiful happened: I found women who mirrored the version of myself I was growing into.
Through intentional spaces like:
Women’s Influence Network – A powerful nonprofit that connects women through education and empowerment.
Conscious Business Network – A supportive group of spiritually minded entrepreneurs committed to heart-led growth.
Her He(art) – A creative sanctuary for women to gather, express, and co-create through events and storytelling.
These women, these circles, became the foundation of my community.
And if you’re searching too—don’t be afraid to create the space you wish existed.
✨ Bonus tip: Explore Instagram and Facebook groups. St. George is filled with conscious women craving connection just like you.
The House I Call Home
In December 2024, my husband and I sold our first home—the first I listed on my own after getting my real estate license.
What I didn’t expect?
How deeply emotional that transition would be.
That home had been my altar, the place I practiced the ritual of daily life.
It held my magic.
My family’s laughter echoed through those walls.
Leaving it meant stepping outside of the identity I had built within it.
And yet—I learned something powerful:
Fear and excitement are the same emotion, just one breath apart.
We moved into a home built by my husband’s father—a sacred shift that invited us to expand, reimagine, and grow in ways I couldn’t have predicted.
A house becomes a home not by bricks, but by the energy we pour into it:
The daily rituals
The intentional design
The memories, laughter, and healing held in its walls
Our homes hold the frequency of our families.
And as we evolve, so does the energy of the space around us.
The Body I Call Home
Perhaps the most unexpected gift of creating a physical home… was finally coming home to myself.
I was born with a cleft lip and palate, and my early years were filled with surgeries and appointments—tiny traumas that built up over time.
I struggled to regulate, to stay present, to feel safe in my own body.
For years, I dissociated.
Until something changed.
Safety. Stability. Belonging.
Once I found those in my outer world—through my relationships and home—I began to turn inward.
Over the last two years, I’ve devoted myself to the sacred science of self-awareness:
I studied the nervous system and its relationship to stress.
I learned how food, movement, and mindset impact my energy.
I worked with therapists, mentors, and energy workers.
I began listening to my body—its hunger, its needs, its cycles.
I fell in love with quantum physics, the laws of the universe, and the mystical made practical.
I experimented, observed, and evolved.
And from that journey, I shifted from victim to creator.
Today, I see my body as the first and most sacred home I will ever know.
It is the vessel through which I create beauty, love deeply, and live fully.
Coming Home on All Levels
Without the city I call home,
Without the house I’ve nurtured,
I wouldn’t have been able to fully return to the body I live in every day.
These three homes—the external and the internal—are intertwined.
When we tend to one, we nourish them all.
